TV 2 Lorry airlook
I helped the regional public service TV station TV 2 Lorry create a completly new airlook that would allow them to completly rethink how they told their stories and how to broadcast the news.
TV 2 Lorry closed down their studio and would now only broadcast from outside the studio. Now all segments and shows would be ‘glued’ together by graphics, not a news anchor.
Simplicity and playfulness
The goal was to create a more consistent look across all mediums and shows, so that TV 2 Lorry would easily recognizable and help TV 2 Lorry stand out from the crowd.
The visual look was build around big bold colors, a easily decodeable iconography, and large typography reminiscent of old newspaper frontpages. Resulting in a simple and easily readable style that’s still playfull and bold.
The airlook heavily relies on the use of so-called ‘frontpages’ that either works as breakers or as introductions for a new show or segment.
